I decided to make my tutorial on how to edit audio using Adobe Premiere. This is a skill I learned during my internship with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. As I worked on promotional videos for the team, I learned that editing your audio is an important first step to creating a video. It acts as your guide for which clips to use and where you should place them.
In my tutorial, I demonstrate how to drop a song into your timeline, how to cut the audio and how to add transitions so that the clip will fade in and out. By combining these techniques, you can have a clip with the perfect sound that will make your video stand out to an audience.
I decided to edit the song "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers. This has been one of my favorite songs since elementary school, and The Killers is my all time favorite band. I am excited to have the opportunity to include "Mr. Brightside" into my website and make it the subject of my tutorial.
I created this tutorial using the Quick Time Player application. I selected "Screen Recording" in order to take a video of my laptop screen. I then opened Adobe Premiere and proceeded to demonstrate how to edit audio.
