I am a senior at Auburn University getting my bachelor's degree in public relations and a minor in marketing. Education has remained a driving force in my life throughout my college career. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA every semester while at Auburn and look forward to seeing where my classroom success will take me.

I have proven to be a strong leader both at Auburn University and in my off-campus career. I have held numerous positions on-campus included my most recent position as Panhellenic Director of Scholarship. I have also taken leadership roles during my internship as I was put in charge of two non-profit engagement projects. Through these experiences, I have learned that leadership involves understanding the needs of your team members and working diligently to ensure you are putting your best work forward.

Time Management

At times, it takes late nights and early mornings to finish everything I need to get accomplished. By prioritizing my tasks and figuring out what needs to get done now, I am able to effectively stay on top of all aspects of my life. Though finishing up my last semester, working a part-time job and holding an on-campus position is not always easy, I believe I am my best self when I stay busy.

I am an excellent communicator with my writing, interpersonal relationships and ability to speak in a public setting. I believe the ability to convey my thoughts effectively is a skill that will be an asset to my career. My coursework in public relations has remained writing and public speaking intensive throughout my college career, and I hope to demonstrate these important skills as I enter the workforce.

On Campus

When I started my college career at Auburn University, I wanted to get involved on campus and hold leadership positions all four years. My first step was getting involved in my sorority. By being a part of the philanthropy committee my freshman year, I learned how to market events through public speaking and interpersonal communication.

After this, I decided I wanted to represent my sorority by becoming a member of the Tri Sigma Extension Team. This experience allowed me to gain a better understanding of on-campus marketing and promotion.

Along with being involved in numerous organizations on campus, I have also held a position for Auburn's Panhellenic Cabinet. My time as Director of Scholarship has been one of my most rewarding experiences at Auburn and has greatly enhanced my ability to lead others.

Off Campus

I have held several part-time jobs during my college career. These include a fitness instructor for My Gym Auburn, an Elite Notetaker for StudySoup and a clothing-materials handler for the Mint Julep Boutique. These positions have taught me leadership, time management and how to be a valuable employee.

I have also worked a summer internship for the Greenville Swamp Rabbits ECHL hockey team. During my time with the Swamp Rabbits, I gained experience in social media content management, videography and community outreach. I also gained leadership skills as I was put in charge of two non-profit engagement projects. These projects included creating a video campaign for United Way's School Tools project and managing the sponsorship of a Ronald McDonald House Respite Room.
